A contract will only come into existence between you the customer and us once your order has been processed and dispatched.
When you as a customer place an order via this website, you warrant by placing the order that:

Placement of an order

Vanborn Vintage Guitars is a VAT registered business, we are legally required to charge 21% VAT (also known as JCT, GST, HST, SST, PST, RST or QS) on the total order amount.

Acceptance of an order
When an order is placed you will get an order confirmation (and further updates) sent to the email address you provided during checkout, containing information about order content, prices, delivery address, tracking & trace information, ... etc
Delivery & Shipping
You as a buyer are free to choose from the mentioned and at the time available delivery option(s) during the checkout / shopping cart. Vanborn Vintage Guitars assumes no responsibility for damages during transport or damages caused from any delays beyond its control.
Vanborn Vintage Guitars offers worldwide shipping via the following parcel services (upon availability)

- UPS (https://www.ups.com/be/en)
The shipping rates will be automatically calculated based on delivery location you provided during checkout, please note that ALL import / custom fee's & duties are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Incase of a stringed instrument, the strings will be detuned before packaging to prevent tension damage during shipping.
Incase of items with tubes/valves (like amplifiers), the tubes/valves will be removed from the item (if possible) and industrial bubblewrapped on their own to prevent shipping damage, in this case the tubes/valves will be numbered for easy reinstallation upon unpacking.
Small sized items (for example: guitar picks) will be packaged in bubblewrap mailing envelopes
Larger sized items (for example: a guitar) will be packaged in industrial grade bubblewrap + (reinforced double wall) cardboard boxes.
Returns & Refund Policy
Vanborn Vintage Guitars only accepts returns for "new" items within 3 days of the buyer receiving the goods.
Vanborn Vintage Guitars does not accept returns on "used" and/or "vintage" items (these are sold "as-described" and "as-pictured", more pictures or detailed description is available upon request BEFORE placing your order via email: info@vanbornvintageguitars.com or the "contact us" page/form on the website)
"new" items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. The Buyer assumes responsibility for all return TRACKED shipping costs.
No order may be returned to Vanborn Vintage Guitars without the prior written consent of Vanborn Vintage Guitars.
Returns are subject to a return charge AKA "restocking fee" of 15%
The buyer will NOT be refunded the original shipping charges (+ any additional fee's like creditcard & payment processing, ...)
refunds will only be issued after receiving the returned order (extra fee's can be deducted if the order is returned in a different condition as sold/shipped)
In the event of a partial refund, any fee's necessary may be brought into the calculation of the refunded amount by the seller.
Cancelling an order
An order can NOT be cancelled once the payment has been made
AND/OR when a shipment tracking number has been added to the order.
Payment is due within 24 hours or else the order will be cancelled.

All items sold are in working condition (unless otherwise specified in the individual listing)
We will do our best to prepare an item in such a way (for example: setup, string height and action on a guitar) that it's for the general audience/user. However many of the little nuances in such manners like a setup or based on personal prefference of each player. Therefor we recommend a professional set up / check up for every item sold in this store.
