You as a buyer are free to choose from the mentioned and at the time available delivery option(s) during checkout. Vanborn Vintage Guitars assumes no responsibility for damages during transport or damages caused from any delays beyond its control.
Vanborn Vintage Guitars offers worldwide shipping via the following parcel services (upon availability):
- Bpost (https://www.bpost.be/en)

The shipping rates will be automatically calculated based on the delivery location you provided during checkout. Please note that all import/custom fees, tariffs, and duties are the sole responsibility of the buyer, and buyers remain responsible for compliance with local regulations.
- In case of a stringed instrument, the strings will be detuned before packaging to prevent tension damage during shipping.

- Small sized items (e.g., guitar picks) will be packaged in bubblewrap mailing envelopes.
- Larger sized items (e.g., a guitar) will be packaged in industrial grade bubblewrap + reinforced double wall cardboard boxes.
Returns & Refund Policy
Vanborn Vintage Guitars only accepts returns for "new" items within 3 days of the buyer receiving the goods.
Vanborn Vintage Guitars does not accept returns on "used" and/or "vintage" items (these are sold “as-described” and “as-pictured”). The buyer acknowledges that all photos and descriptions form an integral part of the sales agreement. Additional photos or details are always available upon request before placing an order.
"New" items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. The buyer assumes responsibility for all return tracked shipping costs.
No order may be returned to Vanborn Vintage Guitars without prior written consent.
Returns are subject to a return charge (restocking fee) of at least 15%, which may increase if items are returned incomplete or in a condition different from when they were sold/shipped.
The buyer will not be refunded the original shipping charges (+ any additional fees such as credit card & payment processing). Refunds will only be issued after receiving and inspecting the returned order. In the event of a partial refund, any necessary fees may be deducted by the seller.
Purchases Made at Guitar Shows, Events, or In-Store Experiences
Customers purchasing items in person (at guitar shows, events, or during private in-store appointments) will have the opportunity to inspect, test, and ask questions about the item before completing the purchase.
We understand that such environments can be busy, noisy, and intense, which may influence the decision-making process. For this reason, customers have up to 7 calendar days after the purchase to contact us if any issues arise or if they are dissatisfied.
Within this period, we will work constructively with the customer to find a fair and workable solution for both parties. This may include adjustments, support, or other remedies. However, this does not automatically imply a refund or return. After this 7-day period, no further claims or returns will be accepted for in-person purchases.
Cancelling an Order
An order cannot be cancelled once payment has been made and/or when a shipment tracking number has been issued.
Payment is due within 72 hours, or the order will be cancelled.
Liability
If you have questions about an item for sale, please ask before placing your order (info@vanbornvintageguitars.com).
We try to have all information as accurate as possible (“as-described”), but we make no warranties, whether express or implied, regarding accuracy. All items are sold in working condition unless otherwise specified in the listing.
We will do our best to prepare an item (e.g., setup, string height and action on a guitar) for general use. However, setup is highly personal, and we recommend that every buyer arranges a professional setup or check-up after purchase.
Buyer Responsibility & Vintage Instrument Liability
Vanborn Vintage Guitars specializes in vintage instruments, which are unique items with their own history, story, character, and wear. These may include repairs, modifications, or signs of use, all of which are disclosed and pictured to the best of our knowledge and form part of the item description.
By purchasing a vintage item, the buyer acknowledges that:
- Vintage items cannot be replaced by an identical new product.
- No warranties, express or implied, apply beyond the condition described and pictured at the time of sale.
- The buyer is fully responsible for proper storage, correct stringing, correct string tension, climate control (temperature & humidity), maintenance, and professional servicing or adjustments as needed.
- Under no circumstances shall Vanborn Vintage Guitars be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from improper use and storage, or (lack of) maintenance, or environmental factors.
Force Majeure
Vanborn Vintage Guitars shall not be held liable for any delays or failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, transport disruptions, strikes, or other unforeseen events.
Customs, Import Tariffs & Duties
All customs procedures, import tariffs, taxes, and potential import delays are entirely outside of our control. Buyers remain solely responsible for any and all associated costs and compliance with local regulations.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Belgian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Belgian courts.
Closing Note
These Terms and Conditions constitute the full agreement between Vanborn Vintage Guitars and the customer. No verbal agreements, assurances, or understandings outside of this document shall be binding.
