An increasingly rare and highly collectible Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi "Ram's Head", dating approximately to 1974–1975 and built during the legendary NYC era of Electro-Harmonix production.
This authentic mid-'70s example features the desirable 3003 PCB, early "ON" graphics, original rubber-feet construction, period-correct TO-92 transistors and original brown epoxy-dipped capacitors. Together, these characteristics place it firmly within one of the most sought-after periods of Ram's Head production.
Renowned for its rich harmonic complexity, endless sustain and smooth, violin-like lead tones, the Ram's Head helped shape the sounds of players such as David Gilmour and J Mascis. A benchmark vintage fuzz that remains as inspiring today as it was fifty years ago.
This is a player’s pedal, built to be used.
A reversable 9V batteryclip has been professionaly installed, so no need to the mess around with 9V batteries
