1977 Greco EG-800PB, inspired by Peter Frampton’s legendary “Phenix” Black Beauty. Built at the Fujigen factory during the lawsuit era, this Golden Era Greco is a faithful reproduction of the iconic triple pickup Black Beauty with premium mahogany body and maple top.
The original Maxon U-2000 humbuckers with Alnico V magnets deliver PAF-style clarity, warmth, and punchy midrange, versatile across all pickup combinations.
The neck offers a comfortable “favorite pair of jeans” feel, frets are original and low, a vintage characteristic enhancing authenticity while fully playable, with upgraded Gotoh tuners for stable tuning. Gloss ebony finish with honest vintage wear — buckle rash, scuffs, dings, lacquer cracks, fret wear — as pictured.
