Marshall ShredMaster (1990s original, non-reissue) — an analog overdrive built for real players, offering five front-panel controls: Level, Gain, Contour, Treble, and Bass. Runs on a single 9V battery or a standard 9V DC adapter (center-negative) and sits in a rugged metal chassis with a metal stomp switch plus 1/4" input and output jacks.

The Contour control sculpts midrange from scooped to pronounced so you can dial anything from tight, amp-like crunch to saturated, singing sustain; Gain and Level interact musically with your amp’s volume and tone to increase sustain and harmonic complexity.

Reported/associated user: Jonny Greenwood (Radiohead) — frequently credited with using a ShredMaster in the chain that helped shape the Creep lead sound.
