We get a lot of requests from customers looking to sell their gear. To make things easier and faster for everyone, please take a moment to read this short guide—it explains what we’re looking for and the information we need from you for both SELLING YOUR GEAR / TRADE-IN

Selling to us is straightforward. Our offers are based on:

• Market value: We check prices on trusted platforms like Reverb, eBay, and other marketplaces.

• Demand & popularity: Is it a hot item that moves fast, or a less sought-after piece?

• Condition & functionality: Is it fully working, used, modified, or does it need repairs before resale?

• Completeness: Does it include the original box, manual, power supply, and extras (“case candy”)?

Our offers typically range from 50% to 70% of the market value, depending on these factors.

Info we need from you:

• Brand and model name

• Year of manufacture (if known)

• Any modifications or replaced parts

• Photos of the headstock, serial number, front and back of the gear, any damage, hardcase, and electronics (pickups, pots, capacitors) if applicable

• Your asking price

Trade in your gear as credit toward other items in our store. Trade-in values are determined using the same criteria as buying (see above)

• Completeness

We also require the same information as for selling, so please provide brand, model, year, modifications, photos, and your estimated value AND don't forget to tell us what item from our store you would like to trade for.

Trade-in values usually range between 50% and 70% of the market value.

Special case: Trading toward high-end gear from our stock? Your trade-in value can go up to 75% of the market value.

Our percentages cover:

• VAT & operational costs

• Admin & processing

• Inventory & resale risk

Note: We only accept gear that fits our store and is interesting to our customers.
