1975 Maxon U1000 Humbucker ... Mythical '59 Burst ... 7.93k PAF Replica (Lawsuit Japan)

Maxon reverse engineered the now legendary and highly sought after late 1950's "PAF" (Patent Applied For) Humbuckers as found in the "Burst" Gibson guitars from 1958-1960.

The beauty of a good P.A.F. style pickup is that they can be used / installed in every pickup position (bridge, neck, middle) and will always result in GREAT tone!

Exclusively built for the Japan market for use in the mythical "Lawsuit" era guitars from Greco ... at a time when they were giving the USA built Gibson version a run for its money ... guess why they are called "lawsuit" guitars.

Online Research shows that these Maxon pickups are internally the same specifications/magnets/… as the highly sought after Ibanez Super 70 Humbucker as made famous by the one and only EVH (Eddie Van Halen) … the only difference? The branding and that these are MUCH cheaper!

The perfect output at 7.93 kOhms
