This 1978 Greco SE-600 Super Sounds “Order Made” is an exceptionally rare custom-order S-style from Japan’s golden lawsuit-era, built at the renowned Fujigen factory.

During the 1970s, Japanese manufacturers such as Greco produced instruments of exceptional quality, craftsmanship and consistency.

Tonally, this guitar features a complete original set of Maxon Excel PU-100 pickups, dated 1978. Developed during Maxon’s early reverse-engineering period, these pickups capture the dynamic response and character of highly regarded early-1960s S-style single-coils.

Expect open, airy vintage cleans, smooth highs, musical mids, natural compression, excellent note separation and outstanding touch sensitivity.
