A rare 1978 Maxon U2000 humbucker, built by Nisshin Onpa during the golden Japanese “lawsuit era,” when manufacturers were carefully studying and recreating late-1950s Gibson PAF pickups from the iconic 1958–1960 “Burst” guitars.
