The 1975 Greco JB-550 Power Booster is a rare gem from the Japanese "Lawsuit Era," crafted at the FujiGen factory as a tribute to the Fender Jazz Bass. Built exclusively for the Japanese market between 1974-1976, this bass features a mahogany body with teak veneers, a walnut stain finish, and a non-standard flame maple fretboard with black binding and block inlays—making it a true collector's piece. Its hardware has developed a vintage patina, adding to its classic appeal.

The JB-550 delivers warm, dynamic tones with punchy lows and clear mids. Its built-in 15 dB Active "Power Booster" circuit expands tonal options, making it versatile for various styles. Smooth and well-balanced, it feels comfortable in the hand, ideal for extended playing. Despite some cosmetic wear, it remains highly playable and includes its original hard case.
