Built during the golden “Lawsuit Era” when Japan decided to show Gibson how it’s really done.
Handcrafted at the legendary FujiGen factory, this one features the elusive “small block” construction — a design Greco only used briefly before switching to full center blocks. It gives this semi-hollow its open, resonant tone and airy response, yet still keeps things tight and controlled when you push it through a tube amp.
Loaded with a pair of original Maxon U-1000 humbuckers, Greco’s very own take on vintage PAFs. Warm, articulate, and just gritty enough to make you play that one extra lick you didn’t plan on.
That Walnut glow? Still shining. The neck? Smooth as your favorite late-70s record. Plug it in, close your eyes, and it’s 1978 all over again — minus the flared jeans.
