Exclusively built for the Japan market ... at a time when they were giving the USA built Gibson version a run for its money ... guess why they are called "lawsuit" guitars.
This one can be dated back to 1974 (from the 1973-1977 building window) due to the EMBOSSED Maxon PU-113 Mini Humbuckers (they only made those in 1974)
A Solid "pancake" Mahogany body (like the Norlin Era from Gibson) bolted to a rounded C three-piece neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard. The original "goof-strips" around the pickups are intact!
Obviously this +50 year old Les Paul has dings & scratches to prove it's age.
It travelled the world with the Japanese artist Akinori Satou (as seen on the hardcase and trussrod cover)
The hardware has aged perfectly and the plastics have that perfect amount of patina you would expect for a guitar of this age!
Included with the guitar is the ORIGINAL form fitted hard case
