RARE 1960s Hoyer / Framus / Höfner Red Band ROCKABILLY "President 457 / Herr im Frack" ... Autographed by Paul Pigat + GIGBAG

A stunning piece of 1960s German craftsmanship — this Hoyer archtop hollowbody was built in Bavaria during the golden age of post-war jazz guitars. Closely related to the Höfner President 457 and Arnold Hoyer Herr im Frack, it shares the same full-hollow construction, elegant binding, and art-deco flair.

Features include a striped black-and-white headstock, block inlays with the signature “red band” at the 12th fret, and a multi-bound Piano Black body that oozes vintage charm.

Modified with a hot bridge humbucker, floating neck humbucker, and Bigsby-style trem for expressive rockabilly tones. Its simple yet clever wiring — one volume and two 3-way mini toggles — offers a wide tonal palette.

Signed by Canadian rockabilly ace Paul Pigat in 2019, it’s a true slice of vintage mojo and musical history.
